6 years of Software Design/Architecture experience.
6 years of experience with Java and/or C/C
2 years of experience with requirements gathering and analysis.
Experienced in developing and architecting multi-threaded and distributed applications
Demonstrated proficiency in Use Case Analysis and Design.
Experience with DB design.
Domain knowledge of wireless telecomm is a must
Experience with CRM or billing applications integration in the telecomm domain.
Working knowledge of SS7
Experience with GSM, CDMA networks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of RUP and UML.
Background in financial transaction processing and settlement.
University degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Masters degree will be an asset.

Requirements: Analyze business requirements and generate accurate and detailed technical requirements.
Document use cases and non-functional requirements in the High Level design documents.
Design and document APIs for products.
Work with Software Architect to create the high level software design.
Support technical queries from sales, technical support, deployment, product management, development and testing.
Provide accurate information on; protocols and standards for the responsible product line, product functionalities and behavior; interactions between product with other network elements.
Review product requirements documents, test strategy, test plans, etc. to ensure features correctness and feasibility.
